Why a builder needs a newspaper
A product that changes weekly and says so only inside the app is a product whose changes are discovered by accident.
Everything worth knowing about Kood arrives the same way: somebody opens the app, uses it, and finds out. The price list had to be built before a payment provider would look at the site; the product page had to be built before one would approve it; both are read by people who have not signed in and may never do so.
News is the same argument, one step further. What shipped, what was fixed, why a decision went the way it did - written down where a reader can find it, on a page with a date at the top, rather than in a conversation somebody would have had to be present for.
It is set like a newspaper on purpose: a masthead, rules, one lead story, and smaller items beneath it in columns. That register asks the writer to be plain - a headline has to say the thing, a standfirst has to say why it matters, and a byline has to be a person.
