Your own domain in five clicks - and why nothing shows up for the first few minutes

A published app can answer on the address you already own. You add two records where you bought the domain and the platform does the rest; the wait in the middle is a certificate being issued, and it is normal.

Open Settings, choose Hosting & domain, pick the app the address is for, type the domain and press Connect. That is the whole interface - one field and one button, because the rest is bookkeeping nobody should have to learn.

The first press does not connect anything yet. It answers with one record to add and a copy button: that record proves the name is yours, so nobody else can point your address at their app. Go to the place where you bought the domain - your registrar, or the hosting panel that manages its DNS - add the record exactly as shown, wait a minute, and press Connect again.

The second press gives you one more record, the one that actually sends visitors to your app. Copy it, add it the same way, press Connect. One thing to know: that record can only exist if the name is otherwise empty. If the same name already has another record pointing somewhere else, the registrar will refuse it and call it invalid - delete those first, then add this one. That refusal is not a mistake in the record.

Then comes the wait, which is what worries people. Once the record is live, the secure certificate for the address has to be issued: a few minutes, occasionally up to an hour. Until it finishes, opening the address can show nothing or an error page while the app is already built and working. Nothing needs to change while you wait and pressing Connect again does not speed it up. Come back later and it is there.

When it lands, the app answers on your own address with its data, its accounts and its login in place, and the address Kood gave you keeps working too - share whichever you prefer. If you change your mind, Disconnect in the same panel releases the domain, and only the account that connected it can do that.

An AI agent in your own app - what to type, and what it will not do

Ask for an assistant in the same sentence as the app and you get a conversation screen that answers from your own material. The one thing it must never do is hold your provider key in the page, and it does not: the answers are bought through Kood.
